Tapvei Tunnels are aspen-wood cage enrichment items for small laboratory rodents. The documented tunnel format measures 100 x 40 x 40 mm and has a 30 mm hole, making it a small refuge and activity structure for mouse cages.

The tunnels are made from Populus tremula aspen wood. Tapvei aspen enrichment products are designed to diversify the animal environment and provide opportunities for exploration, hiding and gnawing. The material is autoclavable or can be supplied irradiated, biodegradable and documented as washable/reusable up to 14 times, supporting use in controlled laboratory animal facilities.
