RedeTapvei 90 L Grov is the coarser Tapvei wood wool nesting material format for rodents. It is made from pure, untreated Nordic aspen and supplied as soft wood strips for nest building and cage enrichment.
The coarse format corresponds to the larger Tapvei nesting-material strip size for mouse and rat use, approximately 6 mm x 20 cm. The 90 L bag contains approximately 3 kg of nesting material.
Documented technical characteristics include moisture content around 10%, dust content of 0.05-0.07%, biodegradable wood wool fibres, full batch analysis and the option for autoclaving or irradiation. One 3 kg bag is documented as sufficient for up to 600 cages.
