Tapvei nesting wood wool is a soft, biodegradable nesting material made from European aspen (Populus tremula). The strips are approximately 3 mm wide and around 20 cm long, providing rodents with a flexible substrate that supports natural nest-building behaviour.

Material and treatment

The aspen is sourced from sustainable forestry and is suitable for autoclaving. The fibres are biodegradable and have a moisture content of approximately 10%.

Packaging

Supplied in 3 kg bags with an expanded volume of approximately 90 litres. Each bag is sufficient nesting material for around 600 cages.
