Porcichew is a pig enrichment toy from Plexx, supplied here in the burgundy aniseed variant. The toy is impregnated with a strong scent that is released as the pig bites and plays with it, which helps maintain the pig's interest over time and supports a reduction in tail biting in pens.
Material and design
Porcichew is made from a biodegradable material with an antibacterial function that the manufacturer states kills 99.9% of E. coli and MRSA bacteria. Each toy is fitted with a 60 cm chain for hanging in the pen.
