Nestlets are a nesting material for rodents, supplied as 5 cm x 5 cm pieces in a 10 kg pack containing 3,600 pieces.
Nestlets are a nesting material addition to standard bedding and encourage rodents to shred material for nest building. The product is made from pulped, virgin cotton fibre and sterilized during manufacture.
The material is inert, non-dessicative, does not compact or form threads, retains warmth without obstructing airflow and does not cause irritation to newborn rodents. Nestlets are sufficiently pathogen free for most purposes.
