NestLab Monitor is desktop software for working with NestLab Advanced Nodes on a local lab computer. It needs no internet connection and no account. The included USB-C dongle connects the computer to up to 200 nodes.
From the computer you can set each node's temperature, lock the setting so it is not changed by accident, choose whether the node regulates on the heater or on the rodent's surface temperature, and request an IR heatmap image. Each node regularly reports its status back.
In study mode, data is recorded per cage rather than per node. When a node is taken out for charging and replaced, the new node continues the same cage's record, so every cage keeps one continuous timeline.

Good to know
Monitor works with Advanced Nodes. Essential Nodes have no radio and are not shown. For computers without USB-C, a dongle for older ports is available.
