HydroGel from ClearH2O is a barrier-packed water gel used as a hydration source for laboratory rodents. The product is widely applied during shipping, post-arrival acclimation and as supplemental hydration in the cage, where over 100 million animals are reported to have been shipped with HydroGel by leading breeders and research animal suppliers.

Application
To present to the animals, cut an X in the top of the pouch or cup so they can access the gel. Typical published intake guidance is approximately 4-7 g per mouse, 24-60 g per rat, 50-80 g per guinea pig and 100-600 g per rabbit. Dose 1 cup per 5 mice for approximately 2 days under average conditions and monitor consumption. Use under veterinary direction.
