Altromin 1311F is the fortified powder form of the 1310 breeding diet for rats and mice. The 1310 formula is a cereal-based (soy, wheat, corn) fixed formula, free of alfalfa and fish/animal meal, and deficient in nitrosamines. It is designed as a complete feedingstuff for ad libitum feeding of breeding adult rats and mice and young rats and mice up to an age of 8 weeks.
Physical form and variant
- Powder presentation, intended for easy digestion and for mixing with water.
- The fortified variant is autoclavable and contains increased vitamin levels designed to compensate for autoclaving losses. Coating is available on request — an optional silicon dioxide treatment that prevents the diet from clumping after autoclaving.
